The winding road leading up to the hotel is a harrowing experience, not for the faint-hearted. The air conditioning requires serious upgrades, and uncomfortable pillows made for a restless night. There were no dining options available on-site for an evening meal after a long day, and exploring the nearby village for food isn't straightforward either.

Brilliant hotel with lovely view of the sea, perfect restaurant. Nice service throughout stay. Had free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Great location for visiting golf courses and restaurants. 15 min walk to the heart of Castellaro. Very comfortable stay, as always.

The final verdict on this
Fine hills and a cute atmosphere await. The breakfast is notably superior to standard Italian fare, and the pool area is visually appealing for relaxation. Accessing the hotel can be a bit tricky, but it is worth the journey, especially for golf lovers. Just a heads up about the service hiccups during busy times.

Nice location, great facilities. Perfect as a base if you are planning daytrips in the area.
We stayed in the appartments, nice and tidy, well equipped, but could have been a bit cleaner, not really a problem, but anyway.

Responsible reception staffs. Clean swimming pool with much beach chair-beds. Large room. Squash coat. Convenient location to visit both Sanremo and Imperia.
Sofa-bed in flat was short and uncomfortable.

A wonderful mountain view in lovely surroundings with a peaceful atmosphere!
...... the long....narrow...nerve wrecking drive up and down the mountain to get there and back.

Lovely spa facilties at no extra cost. Spacious grounds and extremely helpful staff.
Apartments were a long way from the main building. We thought we had booked a hotel not an apartment. Apartment was very basic and the floors were filthy. It was also very cold in the room.

The breakfast provided a fantastic selection that exceeded my expectations, and the pool area was visually appealing, perfect for relaxation. The drive to the hotel is quite challenging, and the lack of dining options nearby made evening meals difficult to find. This resort is great for a short getaway but may not be ideal for longer stays unless you plan to explore further.

We stayed in an appartement of the Resort. The resort is set up nicely, up on the mountain, very close to a typical beautiful old village with stone houses. The appartment was modern, nicely furnished, although an umbrella on the balcony would be an asset. The village Riva Mare was the closest possiblity for swimming in the sea, and the village itself, the part next to the beach. Is very beautiful and romantic. In the village of Castellaro there is one Restaurant and one small supermarket, but down in the valley there is a huge shopping centre and in Riva Mare many restaurants along the beach.
The appartment could have been a bit cleaner, specially the balcony, as well as the staircases. The pool area was ok, but compared to the hotel pool, it appeared a bit poor, and the pool was really filthy and dirty, guests did complain. For all the other facilities you have to pay, which is anyway outlined in the Resort's description, but still, the gym and football court could be for free to my opinion- and compared to a hotel guest you feel a bit like a guest second class, when renting an appartment. The bar is quite expensive. Some of the appartment houses are very close (10m) to the electricity pylon, here you constantly hear the the noise of the electricity - one could have left more space.

Excellent view, quiet place, convenient location, good facilities
One card for openning the gate was not convenient. There is no possibility to get out of hotel parking without card
